John C. Lo

John is a managing partner at Recharge Capital where he focuses on investing and building financial infrastructure and businesses for the firm’s key strategies. In this capacity he serves as the CEO of Size, a comprehensive digital assets service platform and is the director of RDF Labs to manage and align the firm’s financial technology ecosystem.

Prior to Recharge Capital, John was a founding member and contributor to the SushiSwap exchange protocol and is widely respected as a leading developer within exchange infrastructure, digital assets, and decentralized finance. John started his career as a machine learning engineer and was an early researcher on dockerizing Intel SGX deployments for secure transaction  execution.

John holds S.B. from Harvard University, majoring in computer science and statistics, with a minor in economics.
